FAQs

Will my small donation make a difference?

Of course! Any contribution, big or small, makes a big difference!

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes! 100% of your donation is tax-deductible. It doesn't have to be money to be tax-deductible.

Do I get a tax receipt?

We issue tax receipts for all donations of $75 or more, any cash donation, or for donated goods and services. For donations under $75, the IRS does not require a receipt. In these cases, you can request one or use your canceled check or credit card statement.

If you are a member, we will issue a summary of all donations and membership dues in your online account.

Will you come to pick up a donation?

That really depends upon the item in question. We ask that most donations be mailed or dropped off, though you may make special arrangements with us if you are making a large or unusual donation. Any mileage incurred in making your donation is usually tax-deductible, as well.

Do you accept vehicle donations?

Yes! Please contact us to make arrangements.

Can I deduct any contributions Kroger or Amazon makes on my behalf when I shop and select NCCC?

No. These types of contributions are not tax-deductible at this time.
