Credit Union Eligibility

We have partnerships with credit unions in North Carolina in an effort to give our members with an interest in promoting consumer protection in North Carolina an option for low-cost financial services with great customer service. Your membership to the North Carolina Consumers Council gives you eligibility to join these credit unions.

×Each credits union has different qualifications for membership and certain accounts. Membership gives you eligibility to join our partner credit unions, but does not guarantee that you will be allowed to open any particular account.
×While we would love to help you with everything, we can't provide specific information about credit union policies and eligibility criteria since each one is different.
×We aren't able to assist you in setting up an account. Contact a partner credit union directly to apply for credit union membership. Active members can learn more about credit union eligibility and print an eligibility confirmation in theĀ Member Center.
