Sunneen Health Foods has issued a recall for mislabeled Whole Foods Market Vegan Buffalo Chicken Bites. The affected product contains pecans that are not listed on the ingredient label.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to pecans (tree nuts) run the risk of a serious allergic reaction if they consume the recalled buffalo chicken bites.

Recalled Product Details

The impacted Whole Foods Market Vegan Buffalo Chicken Bites were sold in 9 oz. containers that can be identified by a UPC code of 636910500059 and an expiration date of 2/27/2018. They were sold at 13 Whole Foods Stores in New York and New Jersey.

To date, no adverse reactions related to the consumption of this product have been reported. All of the recalled buffalo chicken bites have been removed from store shelves.
