Drugs whose efficacy and safety have not been established are subject to recall.
RECALLED PRODUCT DETAILS
The capsules are marketed as dietary supplements that supposedly increase, sustain, and strengthen muscularity. They were packaged in 60-count bottles. Sten Z has UPC 642125502948 and M1 Alpha has UPC 642125502924.
WHERE WERE THE PRODUCTS SOLD?
They were sold through retailers across the U.S. from March 2016 until April 2017.
WHAT SHOULD CONSUMERS DO?
Men who ingest the affected drugs may experience elevated blood pressure, aggressive behavior, infertility, enlarged breasts, and shrinkage of the testes. Those patients with an underlying cardiac, hepatic, or prostate condition may be at a higher risk of an adverse reaction than those who are otherwise healthy.
To date, the company has received no reports of injuries or illnesses connected to this incident. The company is sending a formal recall notification letter to its retailer and arranging for the affected products to be returned. Those in possession of the drugs should stop using them and either take them back to their place of purchase or discard them according to state and local ordinances for drug disposal.
