Bimbo Announces Recall of Multiple Snack Packs Due to Plastic Contamination
The affected snacks could increase the risk of choking and cutting
Bimbo Bakeries USA has initiated a voluntary recall of Entenmann's Little Bites Fudge Brownies, Chocolate Chip Muffins, and the Variety Pack due to the presence of small pieces of plastic caused by a manufacturing failure.
The company announced the recall after receiving consumer reports of plastic in the product.
One injury has been reported, to date.
The affected Entenmann's Little Bites Fudge Brownies and the Chocolate Chip Muffins are sold in a five pack; the muffins also come in a 10 pack. The Variety Pack is sold as a 20 pack. In each case, the code number 3098 is printed next to the best-by date on the outside of the box.
Consumers who have purchased the recalled product should dispose of it or they can return the product to its place of purchase for a full refund.
