Infant booties sold at Cracker Barrel could be posing a danger to children.

Classic Characters is issuing a recall for its infant knit elf booties. The pompoms at the tip of the toe can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children. The company is including about 4,000 pairs in this recall.

The company has received two reports of the pompoms detaching from the shoes. No injuries have been reported.

The recalled booties were sold in sizes six to 12 months. The SKU number 507665 and style number 28046 are printed on the price tag. The infant booties are green, with red and white trim, and a yellow pompom on the tip of the toe.

Consumers could purchase these items at Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores nationwide and online from September 2015 through November 2015 for about $13.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled elf booties and return them to a Cracker Barrel or contact Classic Characters for instructions on returning them for a full refund.

Customers with questions about this recall can contact Classic Characters at (866) 274-3452.
