Chrysler has issued a recall affecting certain model year 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk SUVs equipped with a 6.2L Supercharged Engine.

What's the problem?

The fuel line on the impacted vehicles may separate. If this occurs, the engine may suddenly stall, increasing the risk of a crash.

Additionally, a fuel line separation increases the risk of an engine compartment fire and injury.

Approximately 1,240 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk vehicles are included in this recall.

What happens next?

Chrysler will notify owners of the recalled Cherokees. Local Jeep dealers will then inspect and, as necessary, replace the fuel line. All repairs related to this recall will be completed free of charge to vehicle owners.
