Chrysler Recalls Dodge Durango, Jeep Grand Cherokee for Disabled Stability Control
About 132,200 Jeep Grand Cherokees and Dodge Durangos are affected by Chrysler's latest recall.
Chrysler is recalling certain model year 2014 Durangos and Grand Cherokees because the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) may be disabled due to an issue with the software for the Steering Column Control Module.
The driver may not be able to adequately control the vehicle if the ESC is disabled.
Chrysler will notify owners of the recall, and dealers will update the software, free of charge.
