Chrysler is recalling about 23,000 2014 Ram ProMaster vehicles due to a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) defect.

In the affected vehicles, the TPMS could fail to learn the locations of the individual sensors while the van is being driven. As a result, the low tire pressure warning light will illuminate, despite the actual pressure of the tire. Should one of the tires lose air pressure, the driver would not be notified of the change.

Chrysler will notify owners affected by the recall and dealers will update the TPMS module with new software, free of charge.

For more information, owners can contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is P62.
