Ford Motor Company is recalling certain model year 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor Super Cab pick-up trucks not equipped with a moonroof.

What's the problem?

The structural roof braces on the recalled trucks may be missing rivets at the attachment of the roof rail, thereby reducing the structural integrity.

If the vehicle's structural integrity is reduced, there may be an increased risk of injury to vehicle passengers in the event of a rollover crash.

What happens next?

Ford will notify owners of the affected F-150 Raptor Super Cab trucks beginning in mid-October 2017. Local Ford dealers will then install the rivets for the roof brace attachments, free of charge.
