Control Arms on Recalled Jeep Liberty Vehicles Could Fracture, Causing Loss of Vehicle Control

Chrysler is recalling approximately 240,000 model year 2004-2007 Jeep Liberty vehicles.
What's the problem?
The rear suspension lower control arms on the affected vehicles can fracture due to excessive corrosion, causing a loss of vehicle control and increasing the risk of a crash.
What happens next?
Owners of the recalled Jeep Liberty vehicles will be notified by Chrysler beginning in mid-June 2018. Jeep dealers will then replace the rear lower control arms, free of charge.
