Crossroads RV Issues Recall for Incorrect Axle Weight Label

A mislabeled axle is prompting a recreational vehicle recall from its manufacturer.

Crossroads RV is voluntarily recalling certain model year 2016 Crossroads ReZerve travel trailers. The affected vehicles are equipped with 4,400-pound axles but the Federal Identification Label states that the trailer has a 5,200-pound axle.

The operator may overload the trailer by following the label information, resulting in a loss of vehicle control, and thereby increasing the risk of a crash.

Crossroads RV is including nine trailers in this recall.

All of the affected travel trailers are quarantined on dealer lots and dealers will replace the 4,400-pound axle with the correct 5,200-pound axle, prior to the sale of the trailers. Owners with questions about the recall can contact Crossroads RV customer service at (260) 593-3850.
