EverGreen Recreational Vehicles is recalling certain model year 2014-2016 Lifestyle, Bay Hill, Alpha Gold and Tesla fifth wheel recreational trailers.

A rivet for the quad entry steps on the affected vehicles may shear and fail, causing the steps to give way when being used.

If the rivet shears under occupant load, the steps may give and the occupant may fall, increasing the risk of personal injury.

Numerous other RV companies have issued recalls in recent weeks for this very same issue, including Gulf Stream Coach.

The Lifestyle, Bay Hill, Alpha Gold and Tesla fifth wheel recreational trailers impacted by this recall were manufactured between March 11, 2014 and January 23, 2015.

EverGreen will notify owners of the recalled vehicles, and local dealers will remove the defective rivets. The step sections will then be bolted together. All repairs related to this recall will be provided free of charge.
