The Vermeer Manufacturing Company has issued a recall for vehicles with faulty tires.

The manufacturer is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 TLR33 trailers manufactured June 10, 2015, to April 14, 2016. The affected trailers may be equipped with undersized tires, resulting in the tires rubbing against the fenders.

Tire contact with the fender may cause sudden tire failure, increasing the risk of a crash.

The company believes that about 160 trailers are impacted by this defect.

The remedy for this recall is still under development. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule.

Owners with questions about this recall can contact Vermeer customer service at (641) 628-3141.
