consumers can find drug take-back centers near them
To cut down on prescription drug abuse, North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper, the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), local law enforcement agencies, Safe Kids North Carolina, and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) are sponsoring prescription drug take-back events across North Carolina on and around October 26, 2013.
These events aim to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of drug disposal, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of these prescription medications.
