Dollar General has implemented a recall for 12-ounce packages of Clover Valley Iced Oatmeal Cookies due to concerns over undeclared milk and tree nuts.

Consumers with an allergy or sensitivity to milk or tree nuts risk a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume this product.

Recalled Product Details

The recalled Clover Valley Iced Oatmeal Cookies bear a lot number of L46217 30, a UPC code of 0 86106 03201 5, and a 'best-by' date of August 18, 2018. The cookies were sold and distributed exclusively in Dollar General retail stores.

Packaging Error

According to the product's manufacturer, a production facility error occurred in which Clover Valley Coconut Macaroons were inadvertently placed in Clover Valley Iced Oatmeal Cookie packaging.

Milk and nut allergens are present in the Coconut Macaroon Cookies, but not disclosed on the Iced Oatmeal Cookie packaging.

No illnesses or reactions related to this recall have been reported, to date.
