Navistar has issued a recall of nearly 4,000 model year 2014-2017 International ProStar trucks. In the affected vehicles, the connection for the cube fuse terminal may break, resulting in a total loss of power to the cab and an unexpected engine stall.

An unexpected engine stall can increase the risk of a crash.

The recall process is expected to begin on September 16, 2016.

Navistar will notify owners, and dealers will replace the cube fuse with a chassis-mounted power distribution module, free of charge.

For further information regarding this recall, owners may contact Navistar customer service at (800) 448-7825, reference number 16508.
