Entegra is recalling 177 model year 2017 Aspire, Anthem, Cornerstone, and Insignia motorhomes due to problems with the electrical system.

The throttle circuit wires on the recalled vehicles might not have been twisted properly to cancel out electromagnetic interference. As a result, such interference can cause the throttle signal to be either higher or lower than intended.

The risk of a crash is increased by unintended deceleration or acceleration.

The company has notified owners, and Spartan service centers will install overlay harnesses with twisted wires for free. The recall started on November 29, 2016.

For more information, owners can reach Spartan Customer Service at (800) 543-4277 or Entegra Customer Service at (800) 945-4787.
