ALLERGY ALERT: Fairway Recalls Blondie Cookies Due to Risk of Undeclared Walnuts

Fairway has issued a recall for its Fairway blondie cookies because the product may contain undeclared walnuts that are not listed on the ingredient label.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to nuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

Recalled product details

The affected Fairway brand blondie cookies are packaged in octagon-shaped plastic containers that are black on the bottom and clear on the top with a standard weight of 10 oz. The product bears either Item Code 268492XXXXXX or 263413XXXXXX.

The recalled cookies were distributed to Fairway stores in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut—as well as though home delivery programs provided by Fairway E-commerce, Google, and Instacart.

All SELL BY date codes of the blondie cookies are included in this recall. No other Fairway brand products are involved.

Fairway says that it has ceased distribution of the affected cookies and has removed the product from store shelves.

Consumers who purchased any of the recalled Fairway brand blondie cookies should return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
