Pride Family Brands is recalling a line of hammocks due to a fall hazard.

The hammock stand, sold exclusively at Bed Bath & Beyond, features Z-shaped hooks that attach to the hammock (sold separately). These hooks are prone to bending and breaking when weight is applied, which will cause the user to fall to the ground. The company is recalling almost 14,000 hammock stands.

The firm has received 13 incident reports of consumers falling to the ground and injuring various body parts.

The recalled hammock stand was sold under the Bed Bath & Beyond Destination Summer private label. It is made of bronze-colored heavy gauge steel with an enamel finish and measures 15 feet long by 3.5 feet wide by 4 feet high.

They were sold at Bed Bath & Beyond stores and at the store's website from March 2014 to July 2015 for about $100.

Consumers should immediately stop using the product, dispose of the Z-shaped hooks and contact Pride Family Brands to obtain a free set of heavier-gauged, S-shaped replacement hooks.

Customers with questions can contact Pride Family Brands by phone at (855) 612-9800.
