Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) is conducting a voluntary safety recall to provide owners with wheel chocks.
The recall applies to owners of 2011-2016 Dodge Charger vehicles. Chocks are used when using a tire jack to change tires. When positioned diagonally opposite to the wheel being changed, the chocks will help stabilize the car.
Failure to follow the manual's instructions may cause the car to come off the tire jack, posing an injury risk. The company is aware of three related injuries. All recorded injuries were minor.
FCA is including about 440,000 vehicles in this recall.
Recall notices will advise affected customers when they may obtain their wheel chocks, which will be supplied free of charge.
Owners with questions about this recall can call the FCA US Customer Care Center at (800) 853-1403.
