Ford issued a recall for certain model year 2015 Mustangs.

In the affected vehicles, the passenger seatbelt tension sensor may misclassify the size of the person sitting in the front passenger seat.

If this happens, improper passenger airbag deployment may occur, increasing the risk of injury.

Ford has started notifying owners affected by the recall, and dealers will replace the passenger safety belt buckle, free of charge.

For more information, owners can contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 14C08.
