Frequent auto recall subject Forest River Inc. is back after a week without a new announcement.

The recreational vehicle manufacturer is now recalling certain model year 2013-2014 Starcraft All Star XL transit buses and 2013 Starcraft XLT transit buses. The affected vehicles are equipped with Navistar engines that have fuel injectors that may fail.

If one or more fuel injectors fail, the engine may misfire, causing a loss of performance, possibly resulting in an engine stall and increasing the risk of a crash.

A total of 30 vehicles are included in the recall. The affected XL models were manufactured from Oct. 17, 2012, to Nov. 26, 2012 while the XLT models were manufactured between Oct. 14, 2012 and Nov. 26, 2012.

Forest River will notify owners, and Navistar dealers will recalibrate the engine control module (ECM) software, free of charge. The recall began on Sept. 9, 2015.

Owners with further questions may contact Navistar customer service at (800) 448-7825 or Forest River customer service at (574) 389-4600.
