Origin8 is issuing a recall for bicycles that pose a danger to users.

The manufacturer's recall applies to the F1, F3, and F7 folding bicycle models. The welds on the frame of the folding bicycles can break, posing a fall hazard. The company has received 13 reports of incident, though none have resulted in injuries.

The number after the F in model name corresponds to bicycle's number of speeds. F1, F3, and F7 can be found on the top tube of each model. The F1 model is matte black, the F3 model is white, and the F7 model is battleship gray. For a list of the serial number ranges of the recalled bikes, see the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) release.

Customers could purchase these models at independent bicycles dealers nationwide between August 2012 and October 2015 for between $370 and $480.

Consumers should stop using the recalled bicycles immediately and return them to the place where purchased for a free replacement bicycle.

Owners with questions about this recall can contact Origin8 at (800) 666-5000.
