Potentially dangerous packaging has led to a recall from Milky Way International.

The company is recalling its Nice! brand Peach Slices and Mixed Fruit, sold in glass jars. The jars may contain fragments of glass, exposing consumers to laceration or other injury risk if ingested. To date, there has been one complaint recorded for Nice! Peach Slices.

Both items were sold in eight ounce sizes. The Peach Slices bear item number 80894, lot number 3700/01069, best-by date 12/15/2017, bottle UPC 0-49022-80894-2, and case UPC 100-49022-80894-9. The Mixed Fruit product features item number 80896, lot number 3700/01069, best-by date 12/08/2017, bottle UPC 0-49022-80896-6, and case UPC 100-49022-80896-3.

The affected products were distributed to Walgreens stores nationwide.

Consumers in possession of the recalled items should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
