H-E-B Grocery Stores Recalls Children's Kaleidoscopes for Choking Hazard
A line of toys distributed at H-E-B poses a choking and laceration hazard.
The company is recalling 35,000 plastic kaleidoscopes because the end caps can be removed, exposing sharp, small parts that can come loose. No injuries have been reported.
The recalled toys are made of red plastic and have 'H-E-Buddy' written on the barrel. They were given away at H-E-B and H-E-B Plus stores in Texas from April 1, 2015 to April 3, 2015 as a prize for accumulated purchase points.
Consumers should take the kaleidoscopes from children and return it to an H-E-B store for a refund of purchase points that can be used for another item.
