Honda has announced a recall of more than 1,650 model year 2013 Honda Accord vehicles that are Low-Emission Vehicle (LEV) II rated.

The fuel tank neck in the affected Accord vehicles may be out of specification causing the fuel pump to not properly seal to the fuel tank. An insufficient seal may lead to a fuel leak, which increases the risk of a fire.

The 2013 Honda Accord vehicles included in this recall were manufactured from January 15, 2013 through April 5, 2013.

Honda will notify the owners of all affected Accord vehicles, and Honda dealers will replace the fuel tank, nut and O-ring gasket free of charge.
