Moritz has issued a recall of 1,250 model year 2015-2016 CR-series, SR-series, DLH-series, FH-series, UDC-series, FH+10-series, ULH-series, ULH+6-series, and ULC-series trailers.

The affected trailers have axles whose mounting brackets may not have been properly tightened.

As a result, the axles may detach from the trailer. If an axle loosens or detaches, the risk of a crash increases.

Moritz will notify owners, and dealers will properly tighten the axles free of charge.

The recall is expected to begin in mid-July 2016.
