A recreational vehicle manufacturer is issuing a recall due to defective equipment.

Riverside RV announced this week that it would be recalling 132 model year 2015 Retro Travel Trailers. The affected trailers are equipped with Tire and Loading labels that list incorrect tire pressure information. If an owner inflates the tires to the incorrect pressure listed on the label, the tire may be overinflated, and a tire blow out may occur, increasing the risk of a crash.

These vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 574, "Tire Identification & Recordkeeping."

The affected trailers are model numbers 177SE, 166, 195, and 509 and are equipped with Coker whitewall tires.

Riverside has reprinted and sent the corrected labels to owners and dealers, free of charge. The recall began August 28, 2015.

Owners with questions about the recall should contact Riverside customer service at (260) 499-4578.
