KZRV has issued a recall of 61 model year 2016-2017 Spree travel trailers due to a refrigerator equipment issue.

The refrigerator vents on the affected trailers may be installed in an incorrect location. This would cause the refrigerator compartment to overheat, triggering the high temperature sensors to shut down the refrigerator.

If the high temperature sensor failed to shut it down, the refrigerator would overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.

The company will notify owners, and dealers will install a larger refrigerator vent and extend the internal baffle free of charge. However, the manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule.

For more information, trailer owners may contact KZRV Customer Service at (800) 768-4016, extension 153 or 154.
