Keystone is recalling roughly 400 model year 2016-2017 Keystone Summerland recreational trailers, models 1700FQ, 1750RD and 1800BH.

The trailers may have been manufactured with ST215/75R14 Load Range C tires rated for 1870lbs, when they should have been manufactured with ST215/75R14 Load Range D tires rated for 2200lbs.

Vehicle owners may inadvertently overload the tires which may result in tire failure, thereby increasing the risk of a crash.

Keystone has notified owners, and dealers will replace the tires with ones of the proper load rating free of charge.

The recall began on May 25, 2016.

Owners may contact Keystone customer service at (866) 425-4369 for more information.
