An RV manufacturer has issued a recall for vehicles due to an installation error.

Forest River is recalling certain model year 2015-2017 Georgetown recreational vehicles, model GTA369XLF. A vented window was installed in the rear wall of the vehicle instead of a secondary egress window.

Without a secondary egress window, occupants may be trapped in the event of an emergency, increasing the risk of injury or death.

The manufacturer is including about 130 RVs in this recall.

Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will remove the vented window and install an egress window, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on, or about, May 27, 2016.

Owners with questions about this recall can contact Forest River customer service at (574) 206-7600.
