Kia Issues Recall for Cadenza Vehicles with Potential Braking Problem

Kia Motors America is recalling certain model year 2017 Cadenza vehicles. The brake vacuum hose on the affected vehicles may kink, reducing braking performance.

Reduced braking performance can lengthen the distance needed to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Kia will notify owners of the recalled vehicles, and Kia dealers will inspect the brake vacuum hose, replacing it as necessary. Repairs related to this recall will be conducted free of charge to vehicle owners.

The remedy process for this recall is expected to begin on April 17, 2017. Owners with questions can contact Kia customer service at (800) 333-4542.
