Kia Motors Corporation has issued a recall affecting 3,107 model year 2014 Cadenza vehicles equipped with 19" non-chrome aluminum wheels. The wheels on the affected vehicles may fracture from impacts such as large, deep potholes.

A wheel fracture could cause the vehicle's circular rim to separate, resulting in a loss of tire pressure, increasing the risk of a crash.

The Kia Cadenza vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured from February 1, 2013 through August 27, 2013.

Owners of the recall Cadenza vehicles will be notified by Kia, and a local Kia dealer will replace the defective wheels with new ones. All repairs related to this recall will be made free of charge.
