A Turkish auto manufacturer is issuing a recall for buses with compromised steering capabilities.

Temsa Global Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS has announced that it is recalling certain model year 2008-2016 TS35C buses. In the affected vehicles, the steering gearbox bracket fastener is prone to loosening.

If the bracket fastener loosens it can cause loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Temsa believes that about 475 buses in the United States are impacted by this defect.

Temsa will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fastener bolts, free of charge. The recall was expected to begin January 11, 2016.

Owners with questions about this recall can contact Temsa customer service at (404) 602-0151.
