A recreational vehicle manufacturer is issuing a recall due to defects presents in the suspension.

This week, Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. announced that it would be recalling certain model year 2014-2016 Breeze motorhomes. The affected assemblies may have loose ball joints which could separate causing a loss of steering control.

A loss of steering control increases the risk of a crash.

Tiffin believes that almost 300 motorhomes are potentially impacted by this defect.

Tiffin will notify owners, and dealers will correct the ball joint installation, as necessary, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in October 2015.

This is the second recall announced by the manufacturer this month.

Owners with questions about the recall should contact Tiffin customer service at (256) 356-8661.
