Fontaine Modification is recalling approximately 70 model year 2013-2017 Fontaine-modified Peterbilt 220 and Kenworth 370 dual-steer vehicles.

The right hand side steering on the recalled vehicles may fail due to an improperly press-fitted steering shaft.

Loss of steering control can increase the risk of a crash.

Fontaine will notify owners of the affected vehicles, and dealers will replace the steering shaft, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on October 24, 2016.
