Garden of Light has announced that it is recalling its Woodstock Organic Matcha Vanilla Oats because of potential listeria contamination.

Listeria can cause serious—even fatal—infections in young children, the elderly, and those with weak immune systems.

Recalled Product details

The recalled Woodstock Organic Matcha Vanilla Oats product comes in a 1.8-ounce paperboard cup with a green laminated film lid. It bears a UPC code of 0-42563-01786-6 and SELL BY MAY 11 2018 printed on the bottom of cup. The product was distributed nationwide in retail stores.

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this recall.

What should consumers do?

Customers are urged to discard the affected product immediately and bring the purchase receipt to the place of purchase for a full refund.
