Channel Fish Processing Company has announced that it is recalling about 1,190 pounds of breaded swai products due to misbranding. The products may contain milk, a known allergen, which does not appear on the finished products labels.

This announcement is an expansion of a recall initially issued on June 16, 2017 by the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).

The recalled items were packaged in 10 pound corrugated boxes. For a list of the item names, lot codes, and date codes, see the official FSIS announcement.

The affected products were shipped to institutional locations in Indiana.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.

Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. The products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

Customers with questions about the recall can contact Channel Fish Processing at (617) 464-3366.
