NCDOT Wants Your Feedback in Shaping the Future of Public Transportation in North Carolina
what do you believe the state's top priorities for public transportation services should be?
The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) wants your help in shaping the future of public transportation across the state.
The public's input is being sought as the state's public transportation blueprint—known as the Public Transportation Strategic Plan—is being developed.
Let your voice be heard
NCDOT is urging all North Carolina residents to take part in a brief online survey to let the department know what they believe the state's top priorities for public transportation services should be.
NCDOT says that the partnerships it has with local governments, regional authorities, and other state agencies have been the source of North Carolina's transit success.
Currently under development, the Public Transportation Statewide Strategic Plan will build upon that success by creating the foundation for reinvigorated state and local transit partnerships. The plan is being developed cooperatively with communities across the state, as well as transit users, transit providers, and local nonprofit organizations.
The final Public Transportation Statewide Strategic Plan is expected to be presented to the public, stakeholders, and lawmakers in the spring of 2018.
