Chrysler is recalling certain model year 2015 Dodge Challengers because they don't meet federal safety standards.

In the affected vehicles, the instrument cluster may become inoperative. This could cause the gauges to oscillate at zero and the Vehicle Theft Alarm could remain illuminated.

An inoperative instrument cluster increases the risk of a crash.

Chrysler will notify owners affected by the recall and dealers will install a software enhancement, free of charge.

For more information, owners can contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is P74.
