A division of Toyota is recalling more than 3,900 new-model vehicles for incorrectly installed accessories.

Fasteners for accessories on some cars, trucks and SUVs were not tightened with the proper torque, which could cause the accessory to detach from the vehicle.

Only certain model year 2014-2015 4Runner, Tacoma, FJ Cruiser, Land Cruiser, RAV4, Scion FRS and XB vehicles that have accessories installed by Southeast Toyota Distributors are affected by the recall.

Southeast Toyota Distributors will notify affected owners, and dealers will inspect and tighten the affected bolts, free of charge. For more information, owners can contact customer service at 1-954-429-2000.
