Farrell Farms of Goldsboro, NC is recalling its 7 oz. Dark Chocolate Almonds, 7 oz. Dark Chocolate Cashews, and 7 oz. Dark Chocolate Pecans that may contain undeclared milk.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

Recalled Product Details

The products come in a clear cellophane heat sealed package. The products are labeled as Farrell Farms with the address 200 Gin Road, Goldsboro, NC 27530 printed on the label. The label format for each of the three products is similar.

The affected dark chocolate almond, cashew, and pecan products were sold throughout North Carolina at fairs and festivals—as well as online through Farrell Farms' website—from October 16 to November 17, 2017.

To date, there have been no reports of consumer illness related to this recall.

The recall was initiated after the supplier, Dutch Valley Food Distributors, notified Farrell farms on November 18th, 2017 that the chocolate raw material used to coat the various nut products was being recalled due to undeclared milk.
