The exhaust silencer on around 107,000 model year 2014-2018 Polaris RZR XP 1000 off-highway vehicles (ROVs) could fatigue and crack. If this occurs, the heat shield may not adequately manage heat, which could lead to the melting of nearby components or fire.

All of these vehicles have been recalled.

Affected Models

The impacted ROVs have POLARIS stamped on the front and back grilles. Polaris, RZR, 1000, & XP can be found on stickers on the side panels. The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is located on the right rear frame of the vehicle.
