Porsche Cars North America is recalling 1,368 model year 2011-2012 Cayenne S Hybrid and Panamera S Hybrid vehicles.

The fuel injection system on the recalled vehicles may leak. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source significantly increases the risk of a vehicle fire.

The affected Cayenne S Hybrid and Panamera S Hybrid vehicles were manufactured between April 26, 2011 and August 2, 2012.

Porsche will notify owners of the recalled vehicles, and Porsche dealers will replace the fuel rails on each impacted vehicle free of charge.

The manufacturer has not yet provided an owner notification schedule for this recall. Owners with questions can contact Porsche customer service toll-free at 800-767-7243.
