Possible Improper Airline Connection Leads to Tadano Recall

Tadano America Corporation is recalling over 50 model year 2013-2015 ATF70G-4, ATF100G-4, ATF130G-5, ATF180G-5, ATF220G-5, and ATF400G-6 all-terrain crane trucks. The affected vehicles may have an improperly assembled airline connection which may result in a sudden loss of mobility or reduced braking.

A loss of air supply resulting in a loss of mobility and reduced braking power can increase the risk of a crash.

The recall began on August 30, 2016.

Tadano has notified owners, and dealers will test all the air connections, repairing the connections as necessary, free of charge.
