Potential Cracking and Detachment Triggers Recall of Trucks with Cranes
The valve bank cover may crack and detach, posing a road hazard
August 9, 2016
Lodi Truck and Equipment has recalled 179 model year 2013-2016 Dominator I, Dominator II, Dominator III, Dominator IV, and Dominator-Propane trucks equipped with IMT cranes.
Recalled models include the 6000, 7500, 8600, 9500, 10000, 12000, and 14000.
The affected cranes have a valve bank cover that may crack and fall from the crane while the crane is being transported. If this occurs it could pose a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
Lodi will notify owners and dealers will replace the valve bank cover with a thicker cover, free of charge.
The recall is expected to begin in August 2016.
