Potential Loss of Steering Leads to Bus Recall from Temsa Global
A Turkish bus manufacturer is issuing a recall for vehicles with a suspension issue.
Temsa Global is recalling certain model year 2016 TS35C buses and 2016 TS45 buses. In the affected models, the front lower control arm housings may crack, allowing the components to separate.
If the control arm cracks and the components separate, a loss of steering would occur, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.
Temsa is including about 70 buses in this recall.
The manufacturer will notify owners, and dealers will replace the lower control arms of the front axles, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in March 2016.
