Vee Tyre and Rubber Co. is recalling 21 Taiga M/T tires, size LT225/75R16.

The sidewall of the affected tires may blister and the inner liner may separate, compromising the integrity of the tires at high speeds. As such, these tires fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 139, "New Pneumatic Radial Tires for Light Vehicles."

If the sidewall blisters or inner liner separates it may cause a tire blow out at high speeds, increasing the risk of a crash.

The recall began on May 25, 2016.

Vee has successfully quarantined the affected tires.
