RECALL: More than 150,000 Chrysler Pacifica Minivans Could Suddenly Stall
Chrysler will notify owners of the recalled Pacifica vehicles beginning in early March 2018
The latest recall from Chrysler impacts approximately 153,860 model year 2017 Chrysler Pacifica minivans equipped with a 3.6l engine.
What's the problem?
The engine control software on these vehicles may become out of sync with the crankshaft position sensor, possibly resulting in an engine stall.
A sudden engine stall can increase the risk of a crash.
What happens next?
Chrysler will notify owners of the recalled Pacifica minivans beginning in early March 2018. Local dealers will then update the engine control software, free of charge.
